Carlisle Tea Buying Guide

With over 100 Carlisle Teas to choose from where do you start? Our creative tea guide will assist you in finding your favourite tea flavour:

Green Tea, Black Tea, Organic Tea

By Colour - black, green or white tea

Black, green and white tea all come from the same clever Camellia Sinesis plant but are processed quite differently. Whilst each style of Black Tea is unique they generally share a bold and rich taste with a higher caffeine level. Great for a morning or afternoon tea break. Green Teas are not fermented at all but are dried carefully leaving a fresh, delicate and slightly leafy taste. White Teas are partially fermented but made from the youngest buds, picked at select times of the year, for a more natural taste that is high in anti-oxidants.

What’s a Tisane?

A tisane or herbal/fruit tea, actually has no tea leaves in it but is a combination of dried flowers, spices and herbs. Tisanes are caffeine free and often known for their health enhancing effects. Try our blends Purity, Cleanse, Energising, Relax, Sandman, Stressless and Weight Control. These single ingredient tisanes are also commonly enjoyed for their health associated benefits Dandelion Root, Echinacea, Liquorice Root & Sage.

And these tisane combinations just taste great! Lemongrass & Ginger, Berries of the Forest, Turkish Apple & Rose, Summer Pudding, Raspberry & Lime.
